All Tours include friendly, courteous & knowledgeable Tour guides, meal voucher(s) and snacks and soft drinks. Ample parking is available at Legendary Motorcycle Tours site for your motorcycle trailer and automobile.

We offer a 2 day and a 3 day weekend tour and all tours leave from Hickory, NC. All weekend tours include lodging. Lodging options include mountain vacation rental homes, hotel or camping. Price varies according to your choice of lodging. If you are coming from out of town, you will need to arrive the evening before the Tour as the departure time is very early in the morning. We can arrange accommodations at an area hotel, but those accommodations are not included in the Tour price and will be an additional cost to you. You will meet with us the evening before your Tour for a review of the weekend events.

Western NC and Tail of the DragonThis can be a 2 or 3 day Tour. We head west and avoid the interstate! We'll ride through the countryside, through beautiful mountain towns, past beautiful lakes, and waterfalls all before we reach the Dragon! Besides the Dragon, we'll ride the other legendary roads in the area, including the Cherohala Skyway, that all motorcyclists love to travel. The views and the ride are exhilarating!

Western NC Waterfalls TourThis is a 2 day tour, approximately 400 miles. We'll visit beautiful waterfalls in Transylvania County and Jackson County as we ride through the countryside and mountain towns. We'll stay in Cherokee for the night. We'll head home via the Blue Ridge Parkway with one more waterfall stop on the way back. Hotel accommodations included in the price of this tour. All the planning is done! All you need to do is kick back and enjoy your ride! Space IS limited: Minimum 3 bikes, maximum 8 bikes.
Full Day Tours
The following are our Full Day Tour options. These rides are approximately 150 miles and 8 hours. A dinner voucher, snacks & soft drinks are included in the price. All full day tours depart from Hickory at 9:00am. Plan to arrive at 8:30am for registration. Full day tours run with a minimum of 3 bikes and a maximum of 8 bikes.

High Country TourDepart from Hickory and travel up the mountain through Blowing Rock and on to Boone, Banner Elk, and the surrounding area. Beautiful scenery and relaxing ride.
- Northwest Tour »
Northwest TourRide the twists and turns over to Plum Tree, Valle Crucis and Banner Elk. Great meal at the Toe River Lodge! This ride is for the skilled rider.
- Parkway North »
Parkway NorthDepart from Hickory, NC on a relaxing ride that includes long sweeping turns, beautiful views, and several points of interest on the Blue Ridge Parkway. After the tour, we'll mount up and make our way back to Hickory for dinner.

Parkway SouthDepart Hickory, NC, and travel south through beautiful countryside. This ride has twisties and switchbacks with tight and long sweeping turns. We'll eat lunch in beautiful Little Switzerland, and visit Mt Mitchell! This ride is for the skilled rider.
- Ride the Rattler »
Ride the RattlerHwy 181, located outside of Morganton, has 11 miles of long, sweeping turns. Fun and exciting ride! Beautiful views and a stop at Moses Cone Manor on the Blue Ridge Parkway. This tour includes a short hike to beautiful Linville Falls. With a stop in Blowing Rock before heading back to Hickory for dinner. This ride is for the skilled rider.

Half Day Tours
Our Half Day Tours are designed for the new rider or for those who only have a few hours to ride and want to experience the fun without the planning. We will customize the Tour to your specifications. Minimum of 3 bikes, maximum of 8 bikes.
